Being that DJing is about 10% skill and 90% self promotion I felt it was important to come out with a new mix so people can be as excited about my DJing as I am. Anyhow all the talking aside here is a fresh 20 minute mix I made last weekend. Shout to my man Cam on the recording. School was out it and it was sort of buzz...

Just got back from Dirty Pretty where DJ Jazzy Jeff KILLED it. Walked up and was told that the list ended @ 1030pm. What kinda list ends that early? Anyway, Skillz aka Mad Skillz was the MC for the night which was crazy. I thought dude fell off the face of the earth but he was the host for the night.

It was a celeb filled night to say the least. Amare, Jamal Anderson, Brian Skinner (is he a celeb?) and Alfonso Ribeiro aka Carlton Banks. Yes...Carlton Banks. At one point Skillz yelled out "this feels like a reunion in this mufucka, all we need is Will!!"

Jazzy Jeff proceeded to take us through early 90s hip hop and classics all night long. A few house hits (I told you Paul) had the crowd going crazy. Overall dude killed the spot wish he coulda been on longer. If he comes to your city do yourself a favor and go watch a legend at work.

One of the reasons I love life...

I was out this weekend with Timmy aka the Korean Diddy. If you go out with Timmy and Naza they do it right, bottles are poppin and beautiful women are everywhere. Our table was in between some friends and after a few pulls from the Goose bottle I became Usher on the dance floor.

Paul wasnt feeling the DJ @ some point during the night. He is a hip hop head as most of my crew is. But what I was trying to get across to him is that music is changing. House,Dance and Club have taken over the club. Yeah, you'll get some top 40 hip hop here and there but thats about it.

Groups such as Simian Mobile, Justice, Kid Sister, Stardust and the man who made my favorite club song Eric Prydz have taken over.

Next time that house song comes on that you may not like and the club goes crazy, sit back and listen to it. You may find something new and refreshing.

And on a unrelated note Mike D'Antoni please stay in Phoenix. If you think the pressure to win is bad here, New York is a whole 'nother beast itself.

like a referee whistle! The season ended today, we finished 3rd.. little disappointing not getting 1st, but still had a great season non the less.... I'm gonna give a full run down of my whole Japanese experience.. I'll speak on it more tomorrow when I wake up, its 2 am- curtains
