I just started a brand new chapter in my life.. I'm livin in Sendai, Japan for a quick 7 months tryin to get my hoop on.. Been out here for 3 days so far, and this country is dope as fuck.. But this Japanese BBQ is out of this world... Anyways.. Yesterday we had a day off from practice so I had one of my teammates take me to the spots around town.. Here you go..

Album is named after the new flick "American Gangster" Such a good look/year for hip hop(and they say hip hop is dead? ha). First single off the album called "Blue Magic" It's a radio rip but you can tell its packin heat.. American Gangster is set to drop Nov 6th, but it will eventually get pushed back till black friday.. Ahhh.. this means I gotta to plug my ears, fight my friends, quit reading blogs, the whole shit for another 2 months until the album drops?? Fuck that--I just waited a month for "Graduation" to drop.. There's only a handful of artist who I give my money too- 'Ye and Jay deff fall in that mix.. Not many people get my green backs...

You know its funny, I always thought I hated politics and as far as I know I still do. But the question still remains... If I hate Politics then why do I get so fired up over it? the answer to that question is simple, its because just like religion people are always trying to push it on you. As far as I am concerned it is all bullshit(excuse the language but the word is essential to accurately convey my emotions.)


I dont know what it is about me, but my friends(well not all of them, cause nick and kev dont care about politics either) always come running to me with some new political documentary that they feel is the final piece of the puzzle they need to convince me. First it was Fahrenheit 9/11, that was supposed to be the final nail in the coffin for Bush. I have never seen this movie, but I saw Michael Moores previous attempts at film making, so I know Im not missing much.

Then came "an Inconvenient truth" by precious Al Gore. I dismissed this movie as soon as I heard of it cause it was obviously a political ploy from someone who doesnt care one bit about the enviroment(and for those who dont know, the things at the bottom of that webpage are called "sources"). I actually saw this movie and I as filled with rage, because it was flimsy at best and completely full of holes. I felt insulted by my friends for demanding of me that I see it. I mean Im fresh out of college with a degree in Ethnic Studies, hearing, reading and watching peoples presentations is kind of ALL I DID for the past 4 years. So forgive me if I know the difference between a good argument and a bad one. and before you respond to this blog trying to defend this movie watch this piece of propoganda.

Finally we get to my last piece of business, "Loose Change". While I hate inconvenient truth I will give Gore credit for atleast making a professionally done film that was worthy of wasting my time. Loose Change is one of the worst things I have ever seen, its a homemade documentary that in a nut shell says Bush masterminded 9-11, and this movie "proves it". The points made in this film are laughable and at times you wonder if the creator was joking or serious. I hate the whole 9-11 conspiracy idea to begin with, and this movie is seriously the bottom of the barrel. If you want to read something "factual" about the conspiracy read this PM(this also has the rae thing caleed "sources" in it.)

Alright my rant is almost over, I just had to vent a little because Im tired of Democrats pushing all this rubbish in my face. and before you go attacking me and accusing me of being a republican or having some other political motive... save it. trust me I hate them too and there day is coming as well. until then stop blindly believing what people put in front you until you do your OWN research. and if you dont have time to do the research, then chances are it really isnt that important to you, so drink some prune juice and let the **** go.

I will admit that with in the last 6 months I said that no team would ever be better than the Real Dreamt Team. That team really was a who's who of all time greats, but having said that not all of them where in there primes.

We all know who plays on each of the teams so I wont do a run down of the players, but there are some questions I would love to address if these teams were to play each other.

1. How would the old guys be able to stop the trio of Lebron,Kobe and Carmelo? and dont forget you have a rested D-Wade coing off the bench.

2. Would Howard be able to handle The Admiral down low? How would that match up look?

3. Would "The Trio" be able to stop Jordan in his prime? remember this was '92 MJ, and we all know how good he gets when thhe odds are stacked against him.

On one hand I see the old guys winning, but on the other hand I just dont see how they can defend the big three. Kobe is a hall of famer, Lebron is a freak of nature, and Carmelo has quietly turned into a monster(hands down best player on this team).

Obviously we will never know what would happen, but it doesnt hurt to think about it.

Wow those are some pretty strong words there. When I hear the word genius names like Tupac and Jay-Z come to the forefront of my mind. Atleast when i'm thinking about the rap game. Now usually I wouldnt pay any attention from a quote by someone named "Mr Collipark", or should I mention his other alias' "DJ Smurf" and my personal favorite "Beat-n-Azz"(sic). I mean seriously where do you guys come up with these names, Is there a computer program out there that generates rap names? But I digress, forgive me, back to Michael Crooms(his government name...) the Miami based producer who has a name derived from College Park,Georgia. He is the man we can thank for the Ying Yang Twins short lived fame. With a track record like that how can someone question his judgment of "genius level talent"? I'll tell you how, and its gonna be easier than you can imagine.

Thats right, Soulja Boy the kid wearing that ridiculous outfit. Now I realize I am not 16 anymore and that with the ever advancing years I get more and more hateful about everything, but am I wrong here for laughing at his home made shades? Too be honest, the shades and clothes really aren't the problem. While I am having an impossible time of understanding what makes this kid a genius or a talent for that matter, I am having a even harder time understandins the words that come out of his mouth.
