Put me in Coach!

I am going back and forth with this trade... Shaq for 'The Matrix' & Marcus Banks??
First response was hell no, Shaq is washed up. But then it got me thinkin.. Is Shaq finished with hoop or is he just not motivated anymore in Miami? This trade is gonna spark the big fella.. and cause trouble in the West!! D'Antoni doesn't even trip on practice.. 30 min at max-(This is straight from a suns players mouth)This could be a great move for both teams.. Shaq can rest until playoffs then come in and give people fits. 20/10 easy.. Thats the only thing suns have been missing these past 2-3 years.. No big man. The Championship could be headed to the Valley of the Sun real soon!
Also, It's a great move for Miami, Marcus Banks is a sleeping monster who can flat out play.. D'Antoni has been keepin him on the bench and playin Steve way to much.. another reason why Suns never win come playoff time.. to many minutes logged in the regular season.. Should of been gave Marcus more tick.. but mark my words.. Banks will blow up in Miami.. And Shawn is gonna do what he does every night... get fast break dunks, shoot ugly jumpers, and play poker after the game(who cares)... So after all this goes does... Phx > Miami

The greatest Bill Walton sound bite ever- From the Valley of the Sun

Does it get any better than this??

Shawn Marion wants to be the man and he never will. Play your position, dude is the highest paid player on the team what else do you want? Get 20pts 12rebs everynight and be on a winning team what else do you want? MIA is still D-Wades team and they are terrible. I agree if Shaq can rest and be force in the playoffs the Finals will be in Phx.

Youtube has classics for days of Bill Walton. What a hero that man is!

After the past couple years i have given up hope for the Suns to ever win it all, so why not? How shaq will even get down the floor fast enough to play defense, who knows? I'll miss Marion but signing Banks never made any sense, so that was a give away. Overall though, I think Heat will get the best of this trade in long run

Aaron- agreed Miami win in the long run..

However, Phx win a championship this year..

and Jay the hater- A fat Shaq is still better than Andrew Bynum, Channing Frye, Fabrico Oberto, Tyson Chandler- and anyone else in the Western conference.. and the east.. You can't tell me Shaq cant come in the playoffs and give the suns 20/10? thats easy for him.. he can still do that in his sleep.. they can't double him with the shooters the suns have... and Amere .. come on.. Shaq can pass the rock too.. He just wants his 5th Ring.. and he will get that soon.. Best Center to ever play the game... Besides Hakeem-

Top 5 reasons why I think this is a legitimate trade:

1) All of a sudden the West is looking like a big man Conference and it doesn't really get any bigger than the Diesel

2) Shaq in the paint frees up Amare to move and it doesn't hurt that Shaq was Amare's hero growing up either

3) Shaq could give a damn about stats, wherever he goes, rings go and as Nick mentioned, man can pass and will

4) As far as the transition of the speed of offense goes, we have the best point guard in the game along with a bench that's not scared to pull up

5) Nash, Amare, Shaq... and just to recap some of the past awesome big men for the Suns: Mark West, Oliver Miller, Joe Klein, etc.

What the hell is Bill Walton talking about? Boris Diaw is his second favorite player in the league? Who's his first, Luis Scola?

Also, here is a quick run down of the bigs in the Wild Wild West in no particular order.

1) Phoenix Suns-Shaq/Stoudamire
2) Denver Nugs-Camby/KMart
3) LA Lakers-Bynum/Gasol
4) Houston Rocks-Yao/Dik
5) S.A. Spurs-Duncan/Oberto
6) GSTATE Warriors-CWebb/Biedrins
7) Utah Jazz-Boozer/Okur
8) NO Hornets-Chandler/West

Without picking up the Diesel, you can clearly see that the PHX Suns would've had a nightmare of a time during this year's upcoming playoffs.

For those of you that don't follow Suns basketball, we lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves who are 10-37 thus far in the season because of Al Jefferson. The beast had a field day against us.
