How did Brandon Roy not make the All-Star team as a starter? I hope he makes it at least as an alternate. This is why the fan votes suck in these games. They vote for their favorites instead of who's playin good ball. Garbage.

west guard starters are kobe and ai right? brandon roy has been playing great and portland's a surprise but there's no way he deserves it over those two this year. kobe is kobe, virtually a lock every year. and ai is having a pseudo-resurgence year. ai leads the team in scoring and assists, cut down nearly 1 turnover a game, 2 steals a game, and is shooting 46% from the field.
the fans got that right to me. now, tracy mcgrady being anywhere near the top 3 vote getters for guards is a different story.
lets keep it in perspective. the all star game is for the fans. Alot of people seem to forget this when people like Vince and T-mac get voted in, even in seasons where they barely play cause of injury. the bottom line is, the game is for the fans and the fans have voted, they want kobe and AI.
Mike, I'm not surprised just sayin. Portland is 1/2 a game behind Denver and Roy has lead a resurgence in the former JailBlazers. Show them some love, but yeah Kobe and AI in the west will be all-stars until they retire.
T-Mac like you said on the other hand is a disappointment. Dude has so much potential but is hurt or doesnt show up in the playoffs every year.

i forgot to say that i would definitely give brandon roy a bench spot for the all star game... before ever thinking of mcgrady who has rarely deserved all star mention.
