That's the reason for this unannounced bit of hate? You question whether I'm in it for the fun?

F you very much then. I'm a writer and have been my whole life. I get off on writing shit to make people laugh or think... On top of that I've been linking people to nearly anything worthwhile on every other hip-hop blog for over two years. Shining light on forgotten or unknown artists and trying to get people to think about hip-hop in different ways.

That's what you call a bid for fast fame?

That's why I play the straight-man and the background dude in our videos?

Your beef is that I enjoy speaking to an actual audience?

You can think I'm corny or whatever - I certainly am - but what the fuck at questioning my motives.

Fuck you.

I don't have an issue with your writing skills homie(in fact I think there kinda nice, mine suck), or your blog, because I do check it every now and again...
However, your youtube creation.. "internet celebrities" is just wack and you look mad uncomfortable doin it, like puff in his videos..

So tell me what are your motives for tryin to get on the red carpet @ award shows? and ackin like a groupie?
Thats my point..

Can't I have my opinion on the matter? I didnt know you were a sensitive guy..

But keep doin it I guess.. other clowns seem to digg it..
There's always gonna be haters my man. And I'm one

Nah, I respect everyone's right to an opinion and I'm not that sensitive. It's just when I see you stating here and on another blog that I'm an ass-clown, or Dallas is cool but I suck... I wonder what the beef is. It's not like you stated a reason for the opinion until just now.

Now, since you asked why we were at the award show? Well, why not if the opportunity arises? Dallas said he could get us on the red carpet so we went for it. It turned out his connect failed him so we had to sneak on to it instead. That's why the other news crews were pissed at us muscling in on their space. I don't think this video is your typical fawning over celebrity shit. We go backstage, we question the state of hip-hop recently and the involvement of vh1, talk about the fake world of the red carpet, show behing the scenes stuff that people never see (press room, wardrobe, rehearsing dancers, etc) and speak to the former head of the naacp and michael eric dyson about how hip-hop can actually be an agent of change as it relates to the jena story. That's like the opposite of just some bullshit red carpet video.

Also Internets Celebrities isn't just my creation. I'm one of 3 people responsible. Dallas is one of the others. I'm not sure where you've decided that you know who is making what decisions but hey assume whatever you want.

To address your main complaint though, it happens to be the case that after covering a bunch of events these past few months (brooklyn hip-hop festival / rock the bells / vh1 honors ) in our unique mocking way (sorry but groupie i dont see).... we're planning to focus much more on our pseudo-documentary style than on any event coverage.

So it'll be more stuff like Bodega.

Watch that one if you haven't already. That's the perfect example of what we're about.

More at our site.

And fuck it, keep on hating. I'd be a total hypocrite to try and stop you from hating when it's what I love to do best.
