Kel- the spiz'ikes might be the illest collab from a shoe ever..
and LB album is fire, they touch on so many things that relate to my life..
You only heard 2 songs from the album, so you have no credit..
Can't judge what you don't know boss...

Yeah but Ive heard enough of them to know theyre nothing special. This isnt their first album, Ive heard them before just not sold on em.

And Spizikes arent anywhere close to illest thing ever. Nike should just retro 3's, 4's, 6's in OG colors and be done with Jordans. Dont get me started on those 12/AF1 Fusions. "Ugh" -Pusha T-

That Crooks & Castles watch is ill. The Spizikes are sick, don't hate KRash. but T. Ariza dunk of the year? nah, Bdiddy on AK47. that's that dunk. BTW, the Drought 3 should've been ahead of LB, i see you KRash.

And why is everyone tell me whats not hot on my list? It's my list.. You guys are straight lunchin on that LB album.. go pick it up and listen to it for a solid 3 days.. then get back to me..

B diddy dunk- that was last season.. But that or Lebron's dunk over Timmy D was dunk of '06
But this season.. T Ariza was nasty- I cant feel my face

Oh and if any other shoe collab would of made my list it would of been the Gourmet joints..

Much love and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year D-Roc, or as they say in Japonese; Ah dah dah dah dah!

And oh, if you don't understand LB there really is no forcin it. One word = Relate.

However I do agree Da Drought 3made the headlines this year. BUT if The Listening came out this year, no question about it.

You need to recognize Phonte first, then realize that Big Pooh is a monster. But again, something I can't teach you.

As for the Getback, You're fuxin with sample monsters like Khrysis and Illmind, and 9th still managed to add a track with your boy Weezy.

As for the other Tops of 2007, ya'll on top of your shoe game and it's nice.

The Chanel J12s wern't that bad this year either.

much luv fam.

If someone disagrees with you does that mean theyre "hatin"? Nah. Hip Hop does NOTHING for ME these days save a few albums, maybe 2008 will be different. Funny when I was at the Cmonwealth opening party I dont think I heard 1 song from that wasnt from the early to mid 90's (aka the golden yrs of hip hop) why is that? Ask anyone 24 or older what they listen to these days? Just my thoughts....

And the Gourmets are already on their way to the crib. The '08 preview is dope. Buschemi is behind it, do your homework on his track record if you dont know.

Lets Talk About It!

Jon Buscemi from Girl/DC, along with Greg Lucci from Zoo York and Greg Johnsen from Situationormal/Hall of Fame.-- Catch up

And you hate on things you havent even heard, which is pure ignorance.. But its ok.. if the east coast/dc aint bangin it.. Kellin ain't claim it..

Your right though Jaeho.. "you can't force it"..

Nick, you did you googled Gourment nice. I brought up the Cmonwealth party for a reason. The crowd was made up of rappers, artists, designers, tastemakers from all over. I heard early to mid 90's hip hop all night and this was at the in store. A-Trak was the dj at the club and I didnt hear ONE song that was new.

It has nothing to do with a DC or east coast bias. Know your music, DC has about as much as a hip hop scene as AZ. They listen to southern hip hop and go-go as a whole. I have no bias, my two favorite hip hop groups of all time (Hiero & DPG) are from the west. Nas made the album "Hip Hop is Dead"....and that was trash. Ironic?

I was also at the King and Duck party. Heard ONE hip hop song from 2007 (flashing lights) all night between AM and DJ Fashen. WHY?

Ive heard enough Little Brother to say Im not really a fan. I "get it" but they really do nothing for me. Only thing I can relate to is good music so miss me wit that "cant relate" ish.

getback was far more interesting than the minstrel show, but i don't think they'll--esp. since 9th is gone--ever get back to the cohesion and fluidity of the listening.

no doubt, phonte has been putting in the work, but his holier than thou attitude and lyrics kind of take away sometimes. he's gotten better about it since tms, but you can tell homie is still salty.

i like getback. the beats were more interesting and layered, but i can't find myself going back to listen to it too often. for me, it's the kind of record that's dope, but when i put it down, i'm putting it down for a good minute.
